Ok! So it's been a while...understatement. I've realized I'm not one to keep up with people, plus I'm really lazy so I haven't kept up with my blog at all. Thank you to all of you that kept checking in to see if I posted...(lol all 2 of you)...and sorry.
Anyway, school is going great. It is getting a little tedious because the Japanese school system is, to put it nicely, not the best. Actually, pretty insufficient. I've gotten my work under control--it was way too hard to work everyday so I'm only working on the weekends now. I've made friends. Most of my really really good friends that I've made from school went back already so I was pretty lonely. New students have come though, but I am rarely home so I don't see them. I hang out alot with friends that I've met at work, which is good because alot of them can't speak English.

I'm not as sick anymore. And it's starting to get pretty warm here so I'm excited!! Nothing really exciting has happened to me. I haven't really traveled anywhere...except I went to Nagano...
I went there with a friend in Feb. It's known for skiing and snowboarding, but I didn't do any of that. The morning we were left I got a sore throat and just felt horrible so we took it easy. We had to take a 3-4 hr train ride. When we finally got to Nagano station, we met friends that took us to the hotel that they worked at. They rented a car for us and it took about 2 hrs to get to the hotel. It was so much fun. We chauffeured, alot of snow, good food, and definitely nice people. I also got to go to onsen--Japanese hot springs...so good :) Sorry, though, didn't bring my camera.
One big thing that happened was that my roommate got sent back to Korea. The school kinda screwed her over by telling her that they would give her a scholarship for the spring semester so she could stay longer, but then a couple weeks into the semester they told her that she wasn't getting it and that she had to move out b/c she didn't have enough money. So horrible.
Oh! But one good, recent development is that I might be a model here. Yesterday a modeling scout named Shia, brought this guy to talk to me about modeling for a magazine. I am sooo....stunned that anyone would come from like 1-2hrs away to see me. They came to my job, had me pose for a couple of photos, and then we arranged for me to go to their studio in Gifu, which is the neighboring prefecture. They check out and are safe. Yay!!

I guess that's it for now. Everyday has kind of been the same. I do plan on taking a trip to Tokyo, again, and Bangkok.
